After having breakfast from the hotel visit to the Galle Dutch Fort

  • Galle Dutch Fort

Visit the historic town of Galle and the 17th century Dutch Fort, a UNESCO-protected World Heritage site. Walk around the Galle Fort’s narrow streets lined with Dutch and British colonial-era buildings that are still in use.

After visiting Galle Fort transfer to Mirissa Beach.

  • Visit coconut tree hill in Mirissa (Duration 45 min)
  • Visit stilt fishermen & fishmarket in Weligama.

Mirissa situated a couple of kilometers beyond Weligama on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It was formerly the island’s most famous “undiscovered” beach. Srilanka’s most exciting wildlife attraction – whales especially Blue whales, Bryde’s whale, Sperm whale, Fin whale (December – April) can be seen just a few kilometers offshore. You can swim and also snorkel here. Snorkeling safaris, sport fishing, sea kayaking, cruises around the bay and beyond, surf lessons can be arranged.

Yala National Park is with light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks, and lagoons spread around 130,000 hectares of protected land. Only 2 out of 5 blocks are open for the visitors. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 species of birds. Safari here is considered as an essential activity during the visit.

Pick up from Nanuoya Train Station with luggage and transfer to Nuwara Eliya

Sightseeing tour in Nuwara Eliya town and English countryside atmosphere, feel free to walk around Lake Gregory and for some water sports.

Visit Kandy and attractions around

  • Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya (Duration: 1 Hour).
  • Kandy View Point.
  • Temple of the Tooth and the ceremony (Duration: 1 Hour).

This temple was built between the years if 1687 to 1707 by the Kandyan Kings present at the time. It houses a tooth that belonged to ‘Lord Buddha.

  • Visit the cultural dance performance in the evening (Duration: 1 Hour).

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to the Airport via Pinnawala with en-route sightseeing.

  • Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage(the world’s largest collection of captive elephants).

This was set up to save abandoned or orphaned wild elephants and to prevent them from extinction (Especially tuskers). This is the only place in Sri Lanka where you can see many elephants in closed quarters

Transfer to Negombo, Sri Lanka’s ‘Little Rome’, this beach town located just a few kilometers away from the Airport. Negombo town offers an interesting introduction to coastal Sri Lankan life, with fish markets, fishing ports, colorful wooden boats, churches, and lagoons.

After having the breakfast, climb up to the UNESCO World Heritage Site the Sigiriya rock fortress this morning (Duration: 3 Hours). This ancient rock fortress is the most remarkable royal capital and palace in Sri Lanka from the 3rd century BC. This rock outcrop of Sigiriya is with Amazing water gardens, Paintings, Damsels, Mirror walls, and Caves.

Continue your journey to Kandy with en-route stops.

  • Privet village tour including traditional SriLankan lunch(Duration: 2 Hours).
  • Visit an exotic Spice Garden in Matale where that you can enjoy the Spice & herbal garden tour with a guide to understand the taste and the aroma of the world-famous spices and learn about the therapeutic uses of local spices and also to see their store.

Lipton’s Seat gains its name from the 19th-century Scottish entrepreneur Sir Thomas Lipton; who bought several tea plantations during the British Colonization Era. The plantations yielded tons of high quality branded tea under his careful care; and became a flourishing tea empire. Lipton’s Seat is the place that Sir Lipton used to oversee his plantations. Once you get there you will be able to have a fantastic view of the distant Uva, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Eastern provinces.

Lipton’s Seat using the Dambathenne Tea Estate route, and stop by the Dambathenne Tea Factory. There you will be taken on a tour of the place so that you can see how the raw tea leaves become a packeted product that can be used to create flavorful Ceylon Tea.
