Day 2 – Knuckles foot hills trekking tour to the magical rice fields (Grade – Smooth & Medium)

Knuckles Luxury Camping site.
We do camping at the base of Knuckles Range and it’s a tented campsite with very good facilities for anybody who like to feel the calm & quiet nature experience. We arrange a bonfire, sing songs, dinner with traditional Sri Lankan foods and a night of comfortable sleep.

Tour Plan
1.1. 7.30 AM – 9.30 AM: Transportation
- En route, you will have a tea break with snacks before going to the trek starting point.
1.2. 9.30 AM – 12.30 PM: Trekking.
- Panoramic green views.
- Tea state trails and paths.
- Evergreen dwarf cloud forest, endemic creepers & cane bamboo forest.
- Gravel & rocky paths in the flat short bush black forest.
- Crystal clear water streams.
- Endemic flora & fauna
- Silent large rocky plateau with peak view.
- Endemic flowers, birds, small animals, lizards, reptiles & butterflies.
*The journey approximately 12 KM for the first day. A to A trek.
1.3. 12.30 PM – 1.30 PM: Enjoying the Picnic Lunch.
1.4. 1.30 PM – 4.00 PM: Trekking.
1.5. 4.00 PM – 4.30 PM: Return from High Knuckles Range & Overnight stay at Knuckles Luxury Camping Site.

2.1. 7.30 AM – 8.00 AM: Breakfast.
2.2. 8.30 AM – 11.30 AM: Trekking.

*The journey is approximately 15 KM one-way downhills and flat walking smooth medium trek.
2.3. 11.30 AM – 12.30 PM: Swimming in the Natural Pool & Picnic Lunch.
- You will love to swim in the 2 M deep natural rocky pool and have the picnic lunch near the waterfall.
2.4. 12.30 PM – 3.00 PM: Wooden Bridge Crossing & Magical Rice Fields Trekking

2.5. 3.00 PM – 4.00 PM: Drive Back To Kandy.
