This ancient rock fortress is the most remarkable royal capital and palace in Sri Lanka from the 3rd century BC. Adam’s Peak also called Sri Pada or Sacred footprint situated at the edge of the southwest of the hill country (altitude – 2234m above sea level, fifth highest peak) and most SriLankan’s sacred pilgrim place. The original buddha story claims that this is the footprint of Buddha himself and it’s at the summit.

The hike up to Adam’s Peak is traditionally made by night and it allows you to reach to the top for dawn and to see the sunrise.

Mirissa situated a couple of kilometers beyond Weligama on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It was formerly the island’s most famous “undiscovered” beach. Srilanka’s most exciting wildlife attraction – whales especially Blue whales, Bryde’s whale, Sperm whale, Fin whale (December – April) can be seen just a few kilometers offshore. You can swim and also snorkel here. Snorkeling safaris, sport fishing, sea kayaking, cruises around the bay and beyond, surf lessons can be arranged.
